Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you how to make an easy do-it-yourself sugar scrub. It is perfect for dry hands!
To make the scrub, you will need:
1/4 cup melted coconut oil (I am using the same oil that I used for my DIY Hair Detangler post!)
5 drops lemon essential oil (I love the scent of Lemon Essential Oil, but you can swap it out for a different essential oil of your choice!)
Directions
Start off by combining the coconut oil and sugar into a jar.
Then, add 5 drops of essential oil.
Finally, stir it all together.
This is what the consistency should look like. The one part oil and one part sugar makes the perfect exfoliator for your skin!
To use, pour about a teaspoon of the sugar scrub on to your hands and rub together! Rinse off with warm water to be left with smooth hands!
I leave my sugar scrub by the kitchen sink so I can use it after doing dishes! My hands feel so soft after using it, and they smell like lemon! Since I didn’t use extra virgin coconut oil, it didn’t smell like coconuts. If you want your scrub to smell like coconuts, try out the extra-virgin oil!
How did you make your sugar scrub? Leave a comment bellow!
Sounds wonderful! And the flower makes it even prettier! 🙂
